is a tragedy.

I can't even fathom playing that game again and I only played it for 5 minutes tops!

Do you know why I am so pissed? The original was marvelous. "Rare" could of taken that and simply updated with new graphics and a steady frame-rate and I would have sh!t myself with pleasure.

Instead, "Rare" decided to "enhance" the game. What came out of their sh!t factory was the WORST FPS EVER!

That's not an exaggeration, this is fact.

What's so bad about it?

Well honestly the only thing I saw that was bad was this one tiny little aspect, but because of this aspect, the GAME CRASHED AND BURNED! I swear if I ever see that game again, I'm going to throw the disk as hard and as far as I possibly can away from me.

What was the aspect?

Well when you aim, the camera lags behind your actually movement. That's it......That's all.....
IT F#CKING RUINS THE GAME. IT"S IMPOSSIBLE TO F@CKING AIM.

WHY RARE?! WHY?!??!? My favorite game....*crys*....My favorite N64 game.....*sobs*

I use to think the same thing till I realized PD was 007 on crack.

The original PD had a slight camera lag.  The targetting reticule had a little bit of freedom in the center of the screen.

The camera lag option in Time Splitters Future Perfect makes the game... unplayable.  But optional.

I never noticed that. I thought it was always as smooth and precise as 007 just more guns and crazier battles.

It's obvious that, in the original Perfect Dark, they did it RIGHT.

To each their own, I guess.  I find PD0 to be a pretty good game; the stealth aspects are the only thing that I'd get rid of, but it adds a lot of little innovations (covering during firefights for example) and some of the stuff is just a blast (jetpacks!).

More than anything though, the online coop is an absolute blast.

The lagging reticule thing is something Rare and Free Radical have always done.   I think its there to give the character a sense of intertia.  I think it works and makes things a little more immersive.

Camera delay is what killed the later Mario Karts for me. I use the camera to see where I'm going, that doesn't work when the camera isn't fixed in one position behind the car ending in snaking like I'm drunk.

The camera should be as transperant as possible. And it's hard to be transperant when your adjusting to it during every second of gameplay.

And what's with the supreme lack of multiplayer levels?

Yeah, the controls are pretty horrid...Which is obviously a huge step-down from the perfect controls that was Goldeneye and PD...

Horrible game. Worst 360 game I ever played...because I haven't played the Outfit yet.

Yes I think the game is pretty poor also, in a serious review I would give it 7/10
even the final boss was lacking, Rare its a FPS not Oblivion! was so lame

I also don't like how the game developed Halo-itis what with the only holding two weapons thing and a very similar control scheme.

The secondary functions also suck. Hello generic weapons.
