Didn't know exactly where to put this but I found a 3800mah lithium battery for the wii remote for 8 dollars. Was wondering if anyone has one of these or one similar and if they are worth a shot. I've been dieing to find me a battery like this as my wiimote has a battery addiction. For 8 dollars, I might as well just give it a shot. I'd prefer something like this as apposed to the rechargable batteries that come with a docking station becuase I have enough clutter on my entertainment center which is already running out of usable real estate. There's a lot of good deals over at Steam right now. Several developer catalogs are up for ridiculously low prices, with individual game sales varying per day throughout the holiday. Some of it is the usual, but there are some newer games and lesser-known indie titles on there that I haven't seen up for sale before.

They're also posing game-specific challenges each day. Completing a challenge earns you a ticket, which can be redeemed for DLC. It also enters you into a chance to win your top 10 wishlist titles. Some of the challenges don't even require you to start up a game (link with Facebook, join a group, post to a friend's profile, etc). A few of the games even have Summertime specific updates running right now. Killing Floor enabled a massive themed facelift in a similar tone to their previous Christmas update. I have my steampunk Mr. Foster... do you?

Definitely some cool stuff going on right now.

Wow, I was just about to post about how they were all $29.99 in store - both are awesome deals. I took pics because I couldn't believe it, there were like 5 people in line behind me (got a bike for my daughter) buying Rock Band Beatles, etc.

I don't think it was an error. I'm sure there will be an official price cut soon in response to the recent PS3 price drop. Walmart apparently just wants to be ahead of the curve.

Target is having it's buy 2 get 1 free deal next week 10/30 -11-5. Hmm...Uncharted 3, GOW3 and BF3 is just to damn tempting.

I also saw a few good deals there besides the deal; Dead Space 2, Portal 2, Bulletstorm were all at the $20 bin :0.

They always had the 3 Professor games at $20 each minus the newest one that's retailing for $29.

Amazon has Collector's Editions of games on sale up to 75% off today only. You can get things like the Duke Nukem balls of Steel edition for PS3 for only $17.99 which is cheaper even than the regular edition of the game, but this is today only.
