Not much of a deal, really, and it looks to be over now. Amazon's current price for the game is just a shade under $49, which is still probably $10 than I want to spend for that game. It doesn't look like I'll have to wait long for that game to drop to around that much with God of War 3 launching in a few weeks, though I suppose I do want the PS3 "divine edition" while it's still available to get the free DLC.

Yeah, I posted that at 1:22am EST. The Amazon deal of the day expires at midnight on PST so when I posted there wasn't really a lot of time left on that deal, but I posted it anyway. I seen it earlier, and BnM's bumping of this thread motivated me to post it.

It pays to check Amazon's video game deal of the day every day. Many days its just some crap, but sometimes its something really worthwhile that makes checking it worth the effort.

If you are in the game club at best buy they have a 20 dollar off coupon for some titles like Brutal Legend Tekken and Modern Warefare 2. It's a great deal for Brutal Legend as the final price is $20. The coupon can be printed off their website.

Picked up MLB2K 09 at Target on clearance for $4.98 today. Why pay $55 more for the same game with a few roster changes!?

There were some significant problems with MLB 2K9 that may or may not have been fixed in this year's version. I was able to make it somewhat playable by tweaking the sliders, but I'm glad my PS3 purchase gives me the option to pick the far-superior MLB The Show.

What I've experienced is fielders have a tendency to drop rouine fly balls way, way too often, and the first baseman will sometimes not be standing on the base, so a runner will reach base safely when the ball was there in time.

The player stepped into a vortex and disappeared into another dimension. Maybe the game developers were thinking of that episode of the Simpsons where that baseball player went through some weird thing like that.

I'm not 100% sure if this includes the system or not, or if it's just a game double pack since there are no details on the site. But $100 for an xbox360 and 2 games sounds like an amazing deal to me if it's true.

p.s. it wouldn't make sense to sell just those 2 games repackaged together for $100, so it must be a system bundle or a banjo/viva collection.

You can add an HDD to an arcade if I'm not mistaken, but in order to do that you need to get a HDD and that would probably cost another $100 or so. In the end it probably wouldn't save you anything to go that road, however that way you could add a bigger hard drive than even the elite comes with by default.
