I'll go with Kid Icarus.  Never played the first, but did own the GB game at one point in time.
It would be nice to see Star Tropics again.

I like your Mario and Wario idea, partybear.

I'd also be interested in seeing Kid Icarus getting ressurrected, yes.

[edit: after reading the thread starter again, I've decided this last part was just way too off topic.]

Ooh, Earthbound. That would be one of many games that I plan to download on the virtual console as I have not played it. I am told I am missing out. I should start writing these games down somewhere that I want to download...

Anyways, I want Punch-Out! Some people say Fight Night is perfect for the Wii, but have any of you played Round 3? It's as much a Burger King commercial as it is a boxing game. No thanks. Plus, Punch-Out! is more of a arcade-ish take on boxing, which always appeals to me more then realism. There's been talk of this being resurrected, so hopefully it is true.

you are missing out, its one of the funniest games out there and the only RPG i've ever been able to keep interest in (well mario rpg too, but EB was first). maybe with the hardware updates the EB team can make one for Wii but it would take forever. they took forever on n64 and canceled it, and just recently released it on GBA.
it would be safe to assume another game for gba or ds than wii at this point.

Solomon's Key!  I play this game all the time on my NES, and it would truly fit with the new Wiimote.  It's a cool little puzzle game.  Anyone else know this game?  If so, then you too know it's perfect for a rebirth on the Wii.

I still haven't beat the thing, and I've been playing it off and on for something like 20 years.  I think there is 50 boards, and two continues.  Though now that I think about it, I usually beat every game I played back then, so maybe I beat this and forgot.   At any rate, get this game!

I know that it was a game that severely needed a save system of some sort.  I never did get very far, and it was such a pain to have to work through the puzzles I'd already solved every time that I gave up very quickly.  It was fun, though.

Since we seem to be talking less about making predictions and instead just listing dream games I want another Mario RPG made by Square.  Of course it's been so long I wonder if Square Enix of today would be able to make something as magical as Super Mario RPG anymore.

What, you didn't like the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi games?

Me, I don't recall any titles from way back when that would really need a resurrection and didn't get it. I mean hell, even friggin Gunstar Heroes already got its remake! There were Jazz Jackrabbit and Commander Keen but Jazz already had a 3d game that was cancelled and Keen has been handed off to some incompetent GBA dev. Hm... Unreal Engine 3.0 turtle blasting... Stopping Mortimer in a Doom 3 engine game...

I'd like to see a modern Famicom Detective Club.  It could be a really cool graphic adventure that would fit well with the controller.  Rather than release one huge game, I'd almost prefer Nintendo release a series of smaller cases via the virtual console.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

YES, PLEASE!  And I'd like to see Cing take the helm! (Though a Wii version of Another Code would be almost as good!)

Yes, it was a port of the PC game...

We should stop, not even half of our dreams will come true, so lets just stick to the semi-announced kid Icarus

I think NiGHTS would be perfect. They seem to finally have the tools now to make a sequel better than the first.

As for Nintendo: Mario Paint that fly-swatting mini-game was gold.
Any color you like.
