Wii = A Game?
« on: April 30, 2006, 06:54:31 AM »
I was just thinking while watching the official Wii flash... all the i's really look and animate like characters... and they're all playing. I wonder if there's going to be Wii mini games in the system interface / menu? Those i's look damn playful, and I wanna play with them! What if this is Miyamotos new franchise?

Just some speculation....

I'm still holding out for an interactive start-up screen of some sort, so that'd be fantastic...

I was thinking the exact same thing Bill...  I envisioned a "room" on screen, where any revMotes currently hooked up (or in range) would fall into their positions as they are in your room.  If you move them around, you can knock things over in the virtual room.

Not really a game, but fun none the less.

It could easily turn into a modern day pong or table tennis game that ships in the system.

An interactive loading screen would be really cool.

Great idea! An interactive system game would be awesome. It's one of those things that should've been done so long ago.

I really like the interactive menu system idea...but I still want it something very fast to navigate if I am so inclined.

The Wii characters are great.  I could see them in a game.  But I see them more as commercial characters and figure heads.  As I mentioned earlier, I want to see those lil i's in media all over the place just doing normal everyday stuff.  I think this is important for image.

It would be cool to see commercials on the different channels and magizines interacting and doing whatever that Magizine is known for.  You don't even have to spell out Wii neccessarily .  Just the i's will work to capture image and curiousity.

Ha, I love this idea. I think you've probably stumbled on the real reason Nintendo decided to call the system Wii, Mario.
“...there are those who would...say, '...If I could just not have to work everyday...that would be the most wonderful life in the world.' They don't know life. Because what makes life mean something is purpose.  The battle. The struggle.  Even if you don't win it.” - Richard M. Nixon
