Anybody know any good games?
« on: April 14, 2006, 05:49:14 PM »
I'm lookin for a game under $30.00 that's either used or new. I like first-person shooter games, anyone know any good games recently like that?

If you can find it, Metal Arms: Glitch in the System.  One of the best FPS's on the 'cube (and just cause its over the shoulder doesn't mean its not an FPS. It still controls like one.)

And you should be able to find it new for about $20.

Also, while it may not be an FPS, you need to get Resident Evil 4.  One of the greatest games of this generation.

Also, I beleive it's entered the Players Choice lineup, am I correct?  So, also $20.

I second the nomination for Metal Arms. It's like an updated Jet Force Gemini.

You can pretty much avoid any games based on a movie. Timesplitters 2 is a good FPS. If you think you'd like adventure with FPS, go for Metroid Prime.
Here's a good place to start.

Time Splitters Future Perfect

Featuring some key members from Goldeneye, robust multiplayer options, cooperative gameplay, and humorous dialogue.

Screw any other FPS title suggested in this thread (Cept for Metal Arms and RE4) this is an awesome title.
