Like MJ said, the fact that it came as logical to us and we're not paid to design these sorts of things probably means Nintendo will use it.

no but i bet microsoft is, they already used a few of pgc forum ideas.....
like wireless plugging into the console to charge!

Even more praise for the rev, but in relation to this topic, the part about what they saw behind closed doors is what interests me. This kind of debunks my theory that the secret won't be too big, I mean Zeschuk said mindblowing, and he's a CEO of a video game company I wonder what blows his mind??

No, really, I think there's more to come.

Coming from someone that was a worrier, and after hearing some of the peeps from GDC, Rev sounds like a competent system. If they can get the prices right for everything (and not rape us on the VC), all the better. If you were already sold on Rev, you'll probably just be all the happier when everything's on the table.

Where they'll end up in marketshare, who knows. But it won't be for lack of effort.

I think pretty much anything they'd show would be mindblowing, because you have to remember they haven't actually shown anything yet.

Right now the Rev controller is just an idea for us. Turning it into a physical demonstration, hell, a demonstration of any kind, would be pretty mindblowing and unique.

Well at least Nintendo of Canada is listening - they had a direct link on a site of theirs to one of our forum threads on the "Too Much Fun" (Nintendo's Canadian campgaign) commercial with the rat. And, surprise, surprise - they've managed to avoid some key mistakes that NOA made. They had both Electroplankton and the USB dongle in some retail stores as soon as they were out, instead of keeping them online. And their marketing is pretty good too..
