Well, I finally got Mario Kart Double Dash (wanted to get a copy with the bonus disc).

Anyone want to try to get Warp Pipe up and running?

I'd be willing to try it seeing as how I bought the network adapter and have never used it...

I don't know about WarpPipe though.  I've disliked that product and the developer ever since day one.  Not much in the way of alternatives.  There's that XLink, but I'm not sure how good that is.   I've always wondered if a VPN between two machines would be good enough and do the trick.

Well, I've got WarpPipe downloaded and I'm ready to go at any time.

XLink, I don't know too much about.  We could try it though.

As far as a VPN - I don't know what you're talking about.

Get with me via MSN/AOL/ICQ and we can give it a shot.  I just want to say that I sucessfully got it working at some point in time (Had some unsuccesful tests with one person trying Kirby's Air Ride).

Man, let me tell you all, I totally just kicked Shecky's back end at Balloon Battle Mode.  He's such a wussy.  I bet he cried.

Seriously, we did get this working - although it was *VERY* slow.  We're going to give X Link a shot here sometime.  If anyone else ever wants to try, let us know and we can try getting together and see what we can get done.

Phht... To bad I completely owned you in the 2fps Vs. mode....  

And the WarpPipe settings we ended up using:
Version 0.3.5, (File -> AutoPortForwarding is UNCHECKED)

poke a hole for 4000 in your router/firewall to your box

connect the WP applications
start the game's LAN mode

Well, we got around to giving xlink a try and it's just as unplayable.
