GC+component+capture card?
« on: January 06, 2006, 11:33:58 AM »
Has anybody tried running a Gamecube hooked to a computer via a capture card and component cable?

How's the quality, any problems?

Running at 480p, I assume?   I'd love to, but I SIMPLY CANNOT AFFORD THAT KIND OF HARDWARE

The "Pyro A/V Link" DV bridge is the only consumer device I know of below $200 that has component inputs -- but NO progressive scan capture ability.  So basically it's just a "better" S-Video.

Professional-level hardware just simply isn't in the realm of cost effectiveness for enthusiasts such as myself.  I'd need a job first =D
