Flight sims for gamecube?
« on: December 17, 2005, 07:57:39 AM »
I'm getting a GC for my daughter for christmas.  I haven't had a gaming console in about 20 years and usually play pc based games.  Is there a flight simulator or combat flight simulator for the GC?

Also, if i may...I suggest purchasing Resident Evil 4. I assure you it is one the greatest games ever.

Flight simulators are rare on consoles since you'd need a lot more buttons for a proper simulation. Stay with the PC for that.

I'd like something that emphasizes flying for its own sake and attempts to give some of the sensation of real flying; e.g. the N64 version of Pilot Wings (which apparently had a pretty good model).  It's OK if I can't control every piece of equipment on the plane.

There are a few jet fighter games for gamecube, about 7-8
sadly most are rare, low budget and flopped badly
