Karaoke Revolution Party
« on: November 09, 2005, 08:50:43 AM »
Alright, I've always been slightly jealous of the Xbox and PS2 because of some of the quirky concept titles they get. Their Karaoke line has always been particularly tempting since my friends really love silly stuff like that and it's a cool way I to involve some of my less gaming enthused family members (the ones that Nintendo is probably targeting for the Rev actually).

Anyway I wanted to know if anyone has picked this up yet or someone knows the full song list? I'm not sure how I feel about incorperating DDR elements into the game, and I hope that's something that can be turned on/off at the player's discretion. Regardless I'm just glad that Konami is finally beginning to show some support for the Çube, even if it is a little late in the game.

I just got this today its 54.99 because it comes with a black nintendo microphone (yes the same ones like you get in mario party 6 and 7). Sing and Dance mode is hillarious. The songs are very good and if anyone is wondering the game takes up 23 blocks(custom characters). Its fun but there is one big downfall in the game, if you use 2 microphones you need to swap out one micophone to save then take out the memory card and swap in the microphone its a minor annoyance but you will get used to it after a while. The 1 - 8 players alternating can be done on one mic though so no worries if you don't want to do duets.

I think its worth the price of admission.
