Hova, I hope you realize you are saying this in a thread visited frequently by the Original Tales Aficionado.  What the hell an aficionado is is beyond my understanding.

*coughmetalgearsolid3cough* umm, Baten Kaitos is a really good game.  The only people that don't like it haven't played the entire game.  I'd reserve the Hello Kitty game coming out next year.  that game's going to fly off shelfs.  The local gamestop stopped taking preorders for it because they were all sold out.  sorry.  Mario tennis is all kinds of fun though. Too bad those games will sell like crap.  well hello kitty will do well.

If you want a single-player experience I suggest you buy Zelda: WW and Metroid Prime my two fav games on the cube and if it's out where you live Metroid Prime 2........My friend imported it for his US cube........Greatness

Or if it's multiplayer you want i would suggest Mario Kart or Timesplitters 2 for a good FPS deathmatch.

Keep playing Viewtiful Joe.

Do you enjoy Pikmin? If so, I highly recommend Pikmin 2, one of the best sequels i've ever played.

yeh i found viewtiful joe to be basic and boring. pikmen2 is a really amazing strategy type game. if you like racing games get wave race(so cheap now) or FzeroGX or SSX3 snowboarding. super smash brothers is a wicked fighting game. if you like rpg's get Tales of symphonia or baten kaitos or papar mario 2. get metroid prime 2 echoes if you like first person adventure type. oh and if you like metal gear series dont miss out on the twin snakes, classic version. if you like shoot em ups get Ikaruga. multiplayer fun games like wario or super monkey ball 1&2 r cool too altho most of games ive mentioned are multiplayer aswell. . . the end.

I'm hopin' they have the Platinum Cube in, so it matches my GBA, but if not, I'm gettin' the black one so it fits in with my Xbox.

I'm also thinking of gettin' a 2nd game, which I'm thinking will be Madden 2003, since I'm a huge football fan (GO RAIDERS!). Any suggestions on some other good games? I'm going next weekend to rent some games to try before I buy.

Yeah I had a Gamecube but I had to sell it cause of money needs... but Im definately gonna pick it up when the new LOZ comes out for the Cube and get some re4 and metroid 2 love.

I recommend Baten Kaitos.  It's one of those games where you can play for hours straight without needing to quit.  I really believe everyone should get it.

Hi. I got GC recently (platinum rocks!) and I only have a few games. having played through FF 1+2 for gba i know im getting crystal chronicles, as well as metroid prime2, so im fine with 1-p games. but my friends come over alot and we're getting tired of SSBM (yes, its possible) and i wanted to know what multiplayer games i should get (except sport and racing, but mario kart is ok)
XBOX2 and PS3 are easy: just bigger, stronger machines. Nintendo, however, is incredibly innovative... you never know what they'll roll out next.

Not sure if these count as sports, but still great 2-on-2 fun:
Mario Power Tennis (which I cannot live without)
Beach Spikers (might be hard to find)

Crazy fun:
Super Monkey Ball 2 (it's quite inexpensive)

Shooters:
TimeSplitters 2 (even cheaper)

If you expect Crystal Chronicles to be anything like FF 1&2, prepare to be unpleastantly suprised.

I find it interesting that this topic has more posts than the GCN has games.

And as for my own 2 cents, don't overlook the launch titles just because they are old.  The GCN's launch held lots of goodies for gamers.

This is more of a "where" than a "what", but does anyone know where i can find Resident evil 3 for Gamecube for less than $50? Its insanely had to find and if i do find it its usually incredibly expensive. New or used doesn't matter.

Capcom's official site:
http://www.capcom.com/xpml/game.xpml?gameid=750045

Be sure to check the final cost.  Capcom is currently running their "Free shipping on orders over $40" promotion, and that game alone might not qualify for it.  I also haven't seen anything "cheap" that you can add to help qualify for free shipping.

I was thinking about picking up Eternal Darkness (even though I didn't care for it when I first tried it) since it's only $10, and I figure I should give it more time than one rental before I make a final judgement on the game. My question is, since I'm a big RE series fan, would ED be a game that I could jump right into and not have much of a learning curve?

Yes, it's easy to pickup.  It teaches you the basics along the way, and in general I'd say it's a much smoother ride than the RE Remake was to a first-timer.
