I got the gamecube a few weeks back and I love it. Why get an X-Box when I have a PC in my room? Anyways I live in Australia (GC sells really bad here!) which means that its hard to find games.

Being 19 and doing Uni/part-time-work/living at home, I have money and lots of time to fill.

The games that I do have:
Ikaruga (hardest game I have ever played, thats what makes it so good), had to import this baby
F-Zero GX (I wanted a racing game, very fast and easy to play)
Metroid Prime (great all round game. the boss fights look great)
SSB melee (easy to play so its good for my sister and friends, pick up and play)
Zelda: Collector's Edition (have not really touched this one yet, but I intend finishing them all during one of the holidays)

Games i want to get (I will hire them first):
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (once I have played the n64 zelda games on the Collector's Edition I will make my mind up)
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (good reviews, interesting story)
Viewtiful Joe (I enjoyed playing double dragon on the nes, looks like a fun game)

and Metroid Prime 2 when it comes out.

Looks like you've picked some great choices(sans PoP, but that's just my opinion), so it looks like you don't need our help... ^_^

You realize on Collectors Edition, not only are there the N64 games, but a twenty-minute demo of Wind Waker, right?  BTW, all your choices are great.  And "hire"...is that was Aussies call rentals?

I rented it a while back and it was great fun. Especially the multiplayer... and those monkeys.

Only problem is it  gave me motion sickness or something if I play it for too long so I never bothered to buy it. Weird... cause it's the first game that's ever done that to me.

I've come to the sad conclusion that I've lost any interest in Metal Arms.

HAHA I love this post, I was thinking the same thing just the other day.  And coincidentally I also bought Hitman 2 months ago and also stopped playing after somewhere around 3-4 missions.  This is erry as hell.  I almost beat you to Metal Arms though, I almost bought it today at Gamestop for PS2, but something told me no in the back of my head.  Note that Hitman 2 aiming with the right stick was easier than most games that require aiming with the right stick.  Maybe because it's less intense than RF2, I dunno.

Gremio I had RF2 for PS2 it was a great game I must add I was a fan of the first one as well.  If I recall right it did have customizable controls too.  I actually prefer multiplayer in RF2 compared to TS2 which I own for GC.  TS2 multi has more options.  RF2 has a better single player quest.  TS2 has map making and arcade mode mini-games which are alot of fun.  Although I stated things about TS2 you already know, I'm stating them as the things that stand out for it compared to RF2.

If anyone likes Gundam type games, Custom Robo is pretty good only downside are the levels are a little too small for the kind of weapons u use in the game.

For those who have just recently purchased a Cube, they are pretty lucky.  Look at all the players choice titles out, Super Smash Bros, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, Super Mario Sunshine, Soul Calibur, F-Zero, and many more.  All under $30.  If I could just hold off on buying games, I would save tons of money, but unfortunately I am one of those people who buys those must own games the day they come out.  For anyone who doesnt own a Cube, its as good of time as any to pick one up.

Not sure.  Not a Hairy Potter fan.

~~~~~
I've recently discovered that Freedom Fighters' control scheme is very close to Hitman 2's, where aiming(camera control) is mapped to the C-stick.
As such, I'm not interested in buying this game anymore.
I have been considering to get True Crime: Streets of L.A. for quite a while now, but I am not sure if it is really that good a game. Sites say it is not as good as GTA: Vice City. Vice City was by far one of the best games I have ever played - If this is my thoughts on Vice City, what will I think of True Crime?. What do any of you think of it compared to vice city and just overall on its own?
True Crime if you have never played any GTA game before then you can be satisfied with this game, but if you have then this game will be kind of a disappointment to you since the developers didn't really polish all the glitches that are in the game.  Overall the game is alright not bad or good, plenty of action and has better visuals than GTA just the glitches that bring it down.
