Well I own Tony Hawk Underground, and so far it has been very enjoyable. I have no experience with the others, so I can't comment on them.

Out of those 5 I have played THUG, SSX 3, and Rebel Strike. SSX 3 is a MUST, even if you don't like sports or snowboarding games in general I guarantee you'll like it...tons of replay value, good control, lots of unlockables, customizations, music, etc.

Rebel Strike is fun, but probably won't last that long unless you're looking for all gold medals. The flight levels are excellent and the vehicle levels are also well done. The speeder bike through Endor was

. However the on-foot levels are pretty bad IMO--you pretty much just run forward and tap A the whole time--luckily there aren't too many of these in the game.

THUG is alright. There is a lot of stuff to do in the game and in each level which is pretty cool. The on-foot dynamic doesn't seem to add that much to the game but then again I haven't really used it very much. I'd say if you like the other TH games then you would like THUG.

i would write a longer impression about BH, but mario has heard most of it on MSN

I would go for Mario Party, simply because it counts towards your Zelda disc.

I don't know about Rebel Strike... I haven't played enough of it yet.

Yeah PIAC i am getting 1080, but thats a definate purchase, none of these games scream out BUY ME NOW like 1080 does. But yeah SSX3 and 1080 are different enough to warrent a purchase of both.

Grey Ninja, in Australia we probably wont get a Zelda bonus disk, and we dont have any special things like you guys do. But i know ill really enjoy Mario Party 5 anyway, so that doesnt matter.

Im leaning towards THUG, and either SSX3 or Mario Party 5...

Also, i LOVE SSX Tricky, but for some reason SSX3 just doesnt grab my attention like it should. Maybe i should play it or rent it or something.

I have the choices of Viewtiful Joe, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Sould Caliber 2, Billy Hatcher and F-Zero GX; I don't know whhich to buy first. I usually enjoy playing games with my mates, so I was leaning towards Mario Kart, but it's been getting quite a few mediocre reviews and impressions. I also tend to enjoy games that differ from the norm a bit, which is making me lean towards Viewtiful Joe or Billy Hatcher. Any suggestions?

Mario Kart Double Dash is awesome! Go get it now! Especially if you like playing multiplayer with your mates!

I can't speak for Mario Kart DD because I haven't played it..but... SOUL CALIBUR 2 IS A MUST. Specialy if you like playing with your mates as do I. This game gets the most playtime.

No worries, sites like IGN get too much credit for their reviews, and their review was absolutely ridiculous in my opinion, i absolutely love the game.

Billy Hatcher is great, no question about it, it's also totally kiddy, and that is a compliment, the gameplay is different, yet still an objective based platformer (ala Mario 64) no overworld to wander around in though, just worlds with levels. i find the music awsome, especially the two demo movie (when you leave it idle at the start screen) songs, pure gold. this is one game where the sunny side is up

i own all the games you are contimplating getting, and personally i find F-Zero (goty anyone?) and Billy Hatcher to be the best of the lot, allthough ALL those games are awsome and worth purchasing, depends what genre you want

Well. Had the cube a little over a month now. Love playing it with friends. Was looking to get get Super Monkey Ball 2. I see now over at Nintendophiles they have a release date of Jan 1 2004 for Super Monkey Ball 3. So I'd like to wait and get that. Only will that be a PAL version. Probably not. Will I have to wait 6 months after this release date get it. Probably.

I understand what you are saying. I really do. The thing is that I thought the exact same thing before I saw the final commercial. I changed my mind completely when I actually started playing it

Pass by Mario Kart. If you want a good SP game, grab VJ, if you need something for your next party, grab Soul Calibur II. If you already have both, consider yourself lucky and keep the money for later.

Wow, thanks for all the feedback guys. I'll see if I can try MK: DD out in the store for a while before I decide if I should buy it or not. I've discovered I'll be able to buy two game before christmas now, so I'll try and get Billy Hatcher aswell. Soul Caliber 2 and Viewtiful Joe will be on my reserve list. Once again, thanks for the feedback.

you don't have mario kart, or mario and luigi, f-zero gx has ALOT more pollish and shine than mario kart, and i think its better than wind waker also.

Is super mario sunshine really a "Buy" game. I tend to only buy games with either multiplayer or long single player. And I'm not bagging it, because I haven't played it. Just asking the question? Looking at screenshots and reviews i did think much of veiwtiful joe. I just hired to today and "wow". This game rocks.

Mario Sunshine is a must buy as far as I'm concerned, but there are people that didn't like it for one wacky reason or another. It's a challenging game that should take you a while to complete, and continue to be challenging when you return to it.

I haven't played Sphinx, but I got PoP today and it's very, very good. Control, camera, graphics, animation, all great. You could read some reviews but they're probably all going to point to PoP anyway so...get PoP!
