That Mr. Anderson there has a bad portfolio but the question remains, will it be better than Van Helsing? That shouldn't be asking too much.

No. No. No. God, no. Why? WHY? How does this man keep getting work?

Though I actually kind of enjoyed Van Helsing....
“...there are those who would...say, '...If I could just not have to work everyday...that would be the most wonderful life in the world.' They don't know life. Because what makes life mean something is purpose.  The battle. The struggle.  Even if you don't win it.” - Richard M. Nixon

The same reason Uwe Boll gets work.

I don't actually know why that is...but still.  WTF?

Uwe Boll was actually exploiting a german tax law to get his F-grade movies made.

The tax law stated that as long as you were German and you used German money to get your movie made (in germany) then you were eligible to write the movie as a tax write off in you lost money on the project.

He got many German investors to put up money (along with his own Nazi money) and set out to make som of the worst movies to have big named actors released on the big screen. Even if the movie made a decent amount of money, the amount of money spent to make the movie was likely never recouped.

Which means that they get to keep all of that money and write the entire project off as an over all loss there fore making 100% profit off of pure and utter crap

p.s. I have never watched an Uwe Boll movie & all info was interpreted off of a wikipedia entry and discussion about it at work.

When I saw this I said, "Well, as long as Paul W.S. Anderson isn't directing this, it may not be so bad."

Then I read it...

Now my soul hurts.
I am Karl Castaneda's news-posting clone, also known as Karl Castaneda #2. I have an inferiority complex, thanks to my being a clone. Fear me!

Actually, very flat, Devon Aoki is playing Kasumi and Jaime Pressly is set to play Tina.

The best aspect of the movie, though, is hearing the games fans whine about the lack of chest size in the leading cast.

Ahahahaha! The only part of the game people cared about got removed! Yep, that's Hollywood alright! Lemme guess, they want to focus on some stupid storyline and add a love story between... say... Ryu and Ayane (that guy added a love story between a human and a predator in AvP, after all) and um... Yeah, it'll play on Mars and there'll be demons from hell everywhere and the heroes got to kick their asses with 1337 martial arts and a supersized sausage...
