No I mean the ranking system
A is the highest you can get in the USA version
AA in japanese version

I guess because it uses the old DDR arcade 3 ranking system, and not the more popular watered down version that is used these days
Old system was more strict on misses and boo's, were the newer one allows more misses and boo and you will still get a A

I find the pad to be fine.  The only problem I have is that it tends to shift on carpet, it has to be moved back to its starting postition after each song.

I used to get off center a lot, but after some practice, I do fine.

After playing for a week or two (I'm a newbie), most of the "very hard" step charts aren't all that hard.  I've started juggling while playing the very hard songs to make them more challenging.

Most of the Super Hard songs are plenty challenging for me (even without juggling :-) )  It will be quite a while before I'll be able to master them.  The Bowser Very Hard song is tougher than most of the Super Hards.  I like the song selection, and 29 songs is enough for me.

I like the idea of the story mode progression, but the unskipable cut scenes get annoying.

I avoid Mush Mode if I can.

And speaking of juggling, I'd like a Juggle Juggle Revolution Revolution game.  Here's one of the controllers.

Do any of you know of any stores that carry adaptors.  I ask because I would like to try more, but I'm not gonna keep ordering stuff online, on the chance it may not work..

Dammit.. I'm seriously bummed about this.

Same.

Bought two of the "PlayCube" adapters by Nyko and they don't work, at ALL.

Word is this game has been discontinued.  Whether this is permanent or temporary is anybody's guess.  But from what I gather shipments to stores have stopped and it's sold out across the internet.  And this game is now fetching up to $100 on ebay.

hhmmmm.

This is on my Christmas/Birthday list (December birthday - thus one list for both).  Now I really hope someone gets it for me now.  I still know of a store that has some so I might be okay.

Bummer if it's rare.  Then if your dance mat breaks you're pretty much screwed in regards to getting it replaced.

Can't get this anywhere around me.  If I could, I'd grab one and put it on eBay.

Gamespot's got an article up on this.  Nintendo's stance is that the game is selling way better than expected and thus that's why it's sold out everywhere.  Gamespot thinks it's a dancepad shortage.

Since Konami discontinued Aria of Sorrow in record time I would normally not be surprised if they pulled the plug so quick.  But this is Mario so Konami alone wouldn't have the final say and Nintendo doens't typically discontinue franchise games.

It is for the moment rare though.  It just isn't really available anywhere.

Hmm this is very positive news considering how DDR vets want this game to fail or will think this game will fail.

Dance pad shortage doesn't make much sense... unless Nintendo's online store is messed, because it let me order 2 with no sign of a back order.

Well maybe Nintendo had only a remainder of DDR mats that was already made and already sealed up in the boxes left in invatory.

Well, if Nintendo's reason is higher demand, what probably happened is that the stores listed them as discontinued in their system because production is so far behind that they don't know when to expect them.  I think the same thing happened when Advance Wars first came out.

I hope Konami and Nintendo come together to make DDR Mario Mix 2. With more characters to dance as, more songs, ummm story mode hopefully gone(seriously it barely has any use), hold steps(maybe) and since people where b*tching about it higher difficulty and a higher difficulty on mush mode(even though i think the current difficulty is fine).

Okay, I haevn't really been following this at all, has this game been discontinued or not?  A bunch of game stores tell me it is, and in this case I'm inclined to believe them since they're the one recieving the shipments and all....

I think

I was hoping for some more concrete evidence...like if something came up but it hadn't been mentioned in the thread...

I don't want to sound like a COMPLETE idiot though, I do understand that if Bloodworth's presumption is correct than the stores would lead me to believe that it's "discontinued."  I shouldn't have even said that sentance, woo!
