My local EB has copies, but I lack the funds as of right now. I'll try and get some to buy it today or tomorrow.

Dude... my Wal-Mart got a whopping *5* copies in today.  I bought the last one about 45 mins after we put them out.  We had people calling and coming in all day for this - even more so than with Mario Kart DS!  I was amazed.

I'll probably get it for Christmas, 'cause I'm a sheep and, being that I love Nintendo's wacky ways, I can't see that I wouldn't like it.

So, this may be old news, but I wanted to make sure everyone knows.

WiFi connection data is somehow passed between games.  As soon as I fired up AC for the first time, it had all my MK connections in the wifi configuration already.

That's pretty sweet.

If I'm reading what you're saying correctly, I think it's because the Nintendo WFC Registration thing registers your particular DS.

Easy stuff, getting online.  Well, it's supposed to be.  I still have to shut down my ZoneAlarm to get online...

But yeah, MKDS and AC:WW were a little too close together.  I only just finished the last Grand Prix in MKDS last night...I'm so busy this month with other things so if I get AC:WW, that will really be cramming up my winter days with so much to do!

I know they don't have North American-based holidays anymore.  Does this mean no Christmas, er, Toy Day?  Is there anything in winter I may miss if I don't get the game soon?

I think he means his connection settings are transferred between games. So they're stored in the system's memory.

I thought it was common knowledge that the WiFi settings are stored in the DS...  I gathered that when I read the WiFi Manual that came with Mario Kart...

Who reads instructions?  not me.. =P

But yeah, I meant like, my specific WEP keys that I inputted in Mario Kart carried through to Animal Crossing.  Very convenient.

Nice one blackfootsteps.  I haven't even gotten around to doing any decal/flag/design making, but I'll have to utilize this when I do, as with the MKDS maker.

Fishing is a lot easier if you have your sound turned up because you hear a little plunk when the bobber goes under all the way.  So just cast it out there and right when you hear the plunk hit the button (I say hit the button because it seems easier to fish with the d-pad than the stylus...especially since with the stylus you may accidently run and then scare fish away).

I have a general Animal Crossing noob question...If one is ABSOLUTELY new to the franchise, would you recommend starting with the GC or DS game?
