I remember Burnout Legends being on PSP was an example of how third parties were still in Sony's pocket.

This news actually originated on the GameSpot forums. Those scans are from some dude on the forum.

Pretty cool. I hope DS can even handle Burnout. If anyone's seen the Top Gun DS screens, I hope it looks like that.

Somehow I just don't see them pulling off the crash physics to an acceptable level on the DS.

I'm impressed with what EA churned out with NFSU2 on DS, so this could be worth checking out. Assuming it exists.

Mmm, while I agree the crashes won't be as impressive on DS, I personally find the sheer thrill of racing against traffic at ridiculous speeds and chaining together boosts to be my favourite part of the series, so I'm still very interested.
