Yeah, I got a Pong shirt from the Atari booth, I got a DS stylus with a mario kart kart on top of it when I played 8 player Mario Kart, which was amazing. I also did the VOIP tech demo and it sounded really good. There was also a line to play against some guy from New York (wi-fi) and some girl from somewhere else. Uhm, a lanyard, because I was staff there for part of the day today I got a black polo shirt with "STAFF" written on it in big letters in the back and a Spike TV hat.

One of my friends was playing Zelda the same time that Adam Sessler was (he was right next to him) and said that Sessler was a complete moron (duh?). Oh, and while I was working I saw Gary Coleman, who was apparently invited by someone in the industry (because I was working the industry invites area).

Any more questions? I'll be around for a while so it'll be nearly live. Oh, and any requests? I'll be taking another 1/2 gig of pics and movies tomorrow.

well, i was working E3 until a little after 2pm, so after that I was kind of running around like a chicken with its head cut off. ie. crazily. I would have gotten much more, but often they give stuff out at big shows and they never have enough for everyone. So they throw hats or t-shirts out into the audience and if you get some, its good, if not then you dont. However, no more working, I did my part and now my pass allows me to frollick in the electronic gloriousness for the next 2 days. Swag will definately increase. As far as who is giving out the best stuff, I really don't know. I'll let ya'll know tomorrow or Friday what good stuff there was to be had. Or at least what I managed to get/take or steal. :-P

I've seen that list of games before, I believe it was proven fake, if not, then it sure LOOKS fake. THat site probably just picked it up from some other site that posted it a few days ago. Nexus? More like not.

I'd be suspicious of that, BlackNMild2k1, because it's exactly the sort of thing you'd expect a fanboy to come up with. It's just too damn good. Still, Nintendo pulled that sort of thing with Donkey Kong Country way back. I've never played Nights (I refuse to use stupid capitalisation), but it sounded really cool.

Metroid Nexus may be what they're calling the 2 second clip of Metroid shown during the Nintendo Press briefing. I did not see any Kid Icarus anywhere on the show floor. No Mario 128 anywhere on the show floor either. If the revolution was there it would have had HUGE lines for it, kind of like Zelda, who's line was....gigantic. There are maybe only a handful of really long lines for anything that I've seen so far. Zelda being one of the longest.

There was a PS3 video that my friends saw, I haven't gotten the chance to yet that had a long line, uhm, Quake had a long line, don't really remember more, I tried to avoid them. Tomorrow I'll have more time to stand around, and hopefully a copy of meteos on my DS to play whilest I stand there.

It was weird though, I waited behind 1 person to play Xbox 360, there was virtually no lines for it.

and on the top left where it says "Go to Album" put in "RollinsX" without the quotes obviously. Oh, and so this post is moderately about what this forum is focused on, no new news about tomorrow. :-)

Alright, so we know IGN are in on this, since they got the console almost spot on in their "mockup" before the actual Revolution was revealed.

Notice the IGN mockup has 19 letters on the top, looks like it was on purpose too

Hedorah, try copying the link location and pasting it into the URL bar. I think they disallowed direct linking. It would work for Mario because his browser will have cached them.

I think I'm ready to offer my own crazy idea...

Somehow, the actual console is the controller. The console we've seen is just for hooking it up to the TV and playing GC and older games. The internet and real processing power is part of the controller or the controller's base, a la nintendo on's concept.

Remember, Nintendo's planning to change the way the internet, the console, the controller and the tv are connected. Rick's also been dropping hints about how the tethering between controller to console to tv is supposed to be changed from a while back. The revolutionary aspect is the controller... or maybe the revolution itself is the controller.

And now that I've made myself appear utterly insane to all of you I'm gonna go sleep for a while.

When I think that helmet controller, I think Metroid, and remember Iwatas words "we have big plans for Metroid on Revolution". Metroid Prime 3 with the helmet would be the most immersive game ever created.
