1) Squashed GameCube what? No, the Revolution shouldn't resemble the GC in looks at all.
2) I really really REALLY don't want to see Nintendo jump on the way-too-curvy bandwagon. I'd expect MS to, what with the whole windows-stealing history, but Nintendo should stick to something more traditional-looking this time. The N64 had a good curve:straight, making it look sleek to this day.
3) Top-loading systems are uncool and prior generation in casual gamers' eyes. They don't understand that sliding disc trays are another point of moto failure and make it easier to screw up the insertion of GC mini-discs. Nintendo does, though, and I'll bet they stick with a top-loading system. After all, that's cheaper, too.
