THE START OF NEW VIDEOGAMES BEGINS WITH THE EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT OF BANDAI GAMES INC.

The newly incorporated “Bandai Games Inc.” will further evolve the company’s strategy to offer fresh, innovative videogames in North America

Cypress, CA – March 1, 2005 – Bandai today announced the introduction of the recently formed corporation, Bandai Games Inc.  The new videogame company, which was incorporated on January 3, 2005, will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bandai America Incorporated.  Previously, the videogames sector of Bandai America was a division within the organization but will now be an independent company.

Bandai Games Inc. (BGI) is a dedicated company solely responsible for publishing and marketing innovative new videogames featuring distinctive characters for the North American market.  BGI will focus all resources into the development of franchises that will appeal to all fans, including children, anime fans, gamers, and the mass market.

“The mission of Bandai Games Inc. is to know what the North American market wants and deliver the best new games here,” said John Soller, marketing manager of Bandai Games Inc.  “This is an exciting beginning for us because we have many new titles with wide appeal that will be introduced this year.”

For 2005, in line with its mission, BGI will deliver fresh new titles featuring amazing characters in extraordinary environments to the North American videogame market.  Some of the new titles that will be introduced this year include One Piece, a fun game for everyone that will feature exciting pirate characters in amazing settings; D.I.C.E., a stunning and action-packed videogame that is set in a perilous galaxy; and Zatch Bell, which features unique fighting characters that will appeal to all ages.  These new titles will be available on videogame console systems such as the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, Nintendo GameCube™ and Game Boy(R) Advance starting in the fall of this year as well as other exciting videogames to be released throughout the year.

BGI also announced the new company tagline “Playing is Believing.” The tagline reflects the company’s dedication in creating new videogames that will take players out of the real world and immerse them into a spectacular gaming experience that transcends players into a new fantasy world which seems real as they play.

Hopefully they will bring Naruto games too. As for One Piece the sooner the better and hopefully with Zoro and not Zolo. Not to mention that they could also bring that new Saint Seiya game for the PS2.

It's not Bandai's fault......the dev houses behind the games they publish are to blame.

Naruto would be a natural fit here.....honestly, that's what I thought the reason of them opening a US base was for.
