One more thing I forgot to mention since I was rushing out of the house; Looking at the biggest disappointments, in hindsight if THOSE were the biggest disappointments of the year, then the collective forum did much complaining over small issues IMO. While the DS had a weak lineup, so far it hasn't (yet?) hurt its hardware sales or perception in the public eye. Both VJ and VJ2 sold like crap on the PS2, and with RE4 coming out nearly a year after the GC version I'd expect lackluster sales for that too. When the rest of the A-list DS games come out both points will be pretty trivial.
My biggest disappointment (or suprise more fittingly, right behind E3 Zelda) would have been Silicon Knights leaving. Was a big blow to the Nintendo community see Dyack and his team go.
