it arived this morning i live in the ukbut i got cheep tickets and flew over there cos me aunt live in america and she preorderd it it has a copy of mario ds its bludy amazon

yea, im playing Mrio 64 DS right now, and I like the touchscreen control. Granted, it's no analog stick, but it works well enough for me

i like the touchscreen control. I don't find it too difficult to use, you just have to reposition your finger occasionally.. big deal.

the dual handed setup, however, i am not  a fan of... maybe i am just no good with the stylus; oh well

I find myself switching between the D-Pad and the touch screen on Mario 64. The touch screen control seems nice, I just have to get a bit more used to it.

I'm also finding the DS to get uncomfortable to hold after about 10 or 15 minutes of playing. It feels a bit awkward to me.

i also tend to switch from touchscreen to dpad, but I prefer to stick with teh touchscreen. It just takes a little self control to keep from moving the "analog target" all over the screen.

i don't find it uncomfortable unless my thumb is stretched to the far side of the touchscreen for too long.

I like the psuedo analogue control AKA touch screen (with the thumb strap not the stylus).  The Dpad control is too clunky for my tastes. The DS is semi comfortable at long sessions of play with the stylus IMO otherwise with the face buttons or thumb strap its comfortable to me.

I can now say that I love the visual control stick the best as well.  (I like it with the thumb strap because it feels more like an analog stick..though I guess you can't really feel it)

I can't decide on a control scheme.  I'm still tooling around with it.

I'm leaning towards the thumbstrap, though.
