It sounds plausible to me, but yeah, I'd kinda like to see the Famitsu myself. If someone shows me a page scan, I can translate it.

But, hey, SC2 did so well on the GC...

If the cube version has goroh and falcon in it I'm sold.  I don't think nintendo has any other non "kiddy" humans.  I don't think Falco would fit in the tekken universe.

Considering the sales of Soul Calibur 2 it would be almost insulting for Namco not to consider releasing another fighter on the Cube.  I would buy this day one.  And considering that SC2 was one of the only multiplatform releases where all three versions were good I'm not worried about the Cube getting a crappy conversion.

Naturally I want to see a little more proof but considering Namco has been pretty good with Cube support lately this seems pretty believable.

Oh, it seems to have been confirmed a fake, this somehow proves it.

It's PS2 exclusive.

That blurry picture doesn't really prove anything.  I can see the PS2 logo but there is also some green and purple text near it.  And we all know which two consoles are associated with those colours.  I want to see a clear scan and a translation from a reliable source.

I would like to see a scan from a reliable source.  That being said I think PS2 is getting it first.  Then it comes out a week later on cube and xbox.

Oh, I so called it

Now let's make a list of sites that don't retract the story, which will be most of them if history is any indicator

yes no tekken is the death of gamecube. this game won't sell all that hot anyway.  People have a bad taste from tag and 4.  Hardcore fans'll buy it, and a few general mainstream gamers that think tekken is the only fighting game ever will buy it.  I'm waiting on them to improve the fighting engine again before I get excited.

what tekken needs is more characters, they got only 2 or 3 new ones, they should have about 6-8 new characters on another row of the figther selection screen.

They need to get rid of some of their older characters that really have no point being here.  They also need more Panda

The GameCube will see Tekken 5 the day a leprachaun becomes king of the world.  It'll see Halo the day KDR fulfills those requirements.

Say, what kind of control scheme does Tekken use? (i.e. how many and which buttons) Yes, I've played 3 for an our or so but I still don't know how many of those buttons are aliases and how many are real buttons...

It's pretty similar to Soul Calibur II, don't know how much time you've spent with that.  The layout's pretty similar to the GC's...A=X, B=Square, X=O, Y=Triangle, if I'm correct, which I daresay I am.

Ah, so a 3+1 layout? good. The shoulder buttons on the PS/2 are bound to combinations I take it?
