Touch! DS in Tokyo
« on: November 13, 2004, 01:46:02 PM »
Nintendo's Touch! DS show was at Tokyo Big Sight this weekend. (Well, still is as of this posting. Today's the last day.)

I went to try and get hands-on with the DS, but the lines were too long and I had to head off somewhere else. I took a few pics before leaving though. Since I can't post them here, here's a link to my blogpage about it.

18 more days... ^.^

Awesome blog. Nice pictures to go with it to. Is Pokemon Dash a launch title in Japan?

Yeah, I live in Tokyo. ^.^

My time at the event was brief, but it was pretty mind-blowing. When I'd heard they were going to have a setup down at Tokyo Big Sight during Design Festa (semi-annual art expo), I figued it'd be a truck or something parked outside for people to check stuff out. They rented an entire hall at TBS and had it packed.

Pokemon Dash is a launch title here. I've got to wait 'til Dec. 2nd to get mine, but it's all good. I'm going to grab Made in Wario DS, Pokemon Dash and Mario Kart DS when I get it. Maybe Mario 64 DS as well.

Nice. Those DS boxes don't have Samus splashed on them to scare small children, are the Japanese going to miss out on the Metroid Prime demo?

I think the Hunters demo is included with the Japanese launch, but I'm not sure. I hope it is, as I'm eager to get my hands on that and check it out.
