I seriously don't care what Xbox fanboys think cause nothing is good enough and i don't think Nintendo will take extra time to make the fanboys happy either.

I agree, now that you mention it, Nintendo probably wouldn't care about Xbox fans and if they like or hate Zelda's graphics. I'll stop being Negative...

XBox fanboys are the complete opposite of Nintendo's demographic, appealing to them would mean compromising the key elements that make up Zelda.

I think it may be a little too optimistic to expect the new Zelda game so early next year.  If I remember correctly, after Nintendo unvieled the game at last year's E3, they pretty much told us to not expect to hear any more about it until E3 2005.  If that's the case, I can't imagine that they would suddenly change their minds and release it early.  With Revolution not set to come out until 2006, Nintendo will need a big holiday seller.  What better game than the new Zelda?

Boris, you´re right about that Holiday season thing.

But it would still be cool, to get the new Zelda so much earlier!

good point, but I still believe that quite a few of the developers close to nintendo are already concentrating on revolution, so I dont expect much good except zelda

i would have loved it if the fact was that zelda was comming out in Q2, but i wouldn't want the developers to comprimise the game's integrity with an early release. windwaker was missing two dungeons. was it not ?

I hope they take their time and deliver the best possible Zelda game they can.  I think the 2005 holliday season makes the most sense.  X-box 2 should be releasing about that time, and its no secret that Christmas helps the sales of any recently released big name titles.  The new screens look awsome, the detail in this game is gonna rival RE4.

I think its best they wait till then anyway, more time in devolopement is always good, they hopefully won't have to cut 2 dungeons this time >_> and anyway, its the last major title for the gamecube, holiday season is a necessity.

with November 2005 they mean, November again, not that OOT was released in 2005, if that is what irritates you

anyways, what do you think of the new screens? I think link looks great, but the enemy on one of the screens looks crappy, almost N64ish

Open your eyes, people.  You've got a bad angle, the guy's hunched over, and you're not seeing the [demo] in motion, the lighting washes out texture detail, and maybe the depth blur's just messing with you.  I think people would dismiss the masked lizalfo here if he was shown so close too

I'm surprised no one's complained about the horse, which I think is in greater need of work.

Careful with what "n64ish" implies.  You deem something n64ish, then it's 'weak' enough to be on DS...

Dreamcastish and PS2ish also exist..... HELLOOOOOOOOO

We shouldn't assume anything about the Zelda progress untill we know something solid. So the game isn't being shown around untill E3. This is just Nintendo's style. They love to keep things under heavy 007 type security. The game could be relatively far along by now.

I just hope the game comes out before next Christmas. Anytime in 2005 would be great.

Wait until you see Link, controlled by yourself, looking out over a VAST Hyrulian plain, anticipating great dangers and joys in the greatest videogameadventure ever created on ANY console! Yes, this is the new milestone for videogame adventure content! They´re going to do it - again!

Seeing those gobsmackingly incredibly screenshots, in particular the one where Link sits on his horse (Epona?) looking out over the fantastic land and with that HUGE draw-distance, I get to think that OOT was merely a warm-up leading...to this!

Simply...awesome!!

I can already hear the new music playing in the background.
