I cant remember the button combination to get the high res on the game cube, does anyone know it?

Hold B as you start up...(You need to have a component cable and a TV that supports progressive scan, just in case you didn't know)

Hmm?  GC only outputs one res, 640 by 480.  The only difference is enabling progressive scan mode (most noteable on Large screen TV's).

And some games don't have that option, and if you're european then you'll out of luck as well.

thanks, but i have tried the b button at the start up screen and it does nothing, i have tried it with and with out a disc in the slot. what am i doing worng? is it only the b button?? is it a startup for the game or what??

You need the official component cable for progressive scan and your game must support it. Games that support it should have the instructions how to activate it in the manual.
