LARGEST COLLEGE GAME TOUR SHOWCASES UNRELEASED GAMES AT CAMPUSES  


"2004 Game Live 'Play It Now' Fall College Tour" Features Top Unreleased Titles from Electronic Arts, Midway, Vivendi Universal Games, U.S. Army, Global Star Games and Ubisoft


SAN FRANCISCO, CA - September 23, 2004 - Game Live Events, the most established live video game and PC touring event in the U.S., today announced their "2004 'Play It Now' Fall College Tour." With the highly anticipated Holiday Season around the corner, the 20-stop Fall College Tour begins on Monday, September 27th at the University of Maine and runs through Wednesday, November 4th at California State University at Long Beach. Total campus enrollment for this tour will exceed 350,000 students.  


College students will preview for the first time the fall's most popular video games and PC games, as well as unreleased betas and gold builds of this year's hottest new titles.  New titles for gameplay include major releases from EA SPORTS(TM) "NBA Live 2005" and "FIFA Soccer 2005," EA GAMES(TM) "GoldenEye: Rouge Agent(TM)" and "Need for Speed(TM) Underground 2."  Midway will be previewing the nationally anticipated "Mortal Kombat(R) Deception(TM)" and the sequel to the successful 2003 launch of "Midway Arcade," "Midway Arcade Treasures 2."  Vivendi Universal Games will showcase the highly successful next installment of the "Leisure Suit Larry" series and one of the first great on-line games; "Tribes."  Ubisoft will be featuring exciting new releases of "Prince of Persia: Warrior Within" and the new "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2."  The U.S. Army's "America's Army(R): Special Forces (Downrange)" PC game will be featured on 8 fully networked high-speed computers for high action competitive game play.  


More than 20 titles will be featured on a state-of-the-art, 49-screen Game Live interactive "GamePort" system from publishing partners Electronic Arts, Vivendi Universal Games, the U.S. Army, Midway(R), Ubisoft Entertainment and Global Star Games.  PC partners include ATI Technologies Inc. showcasing the RADEON(R) 9800 XT graphics card, the NYKO Air Flo EX is the Official Controller Partner of the Tour. G4TechTV(R), the cable TV network dedicated to video games, has signed on again as the Official Television Partner.  A trailer from Global Star Games will feature the new Close Combat First to Fight game for Xbox and PC.
