Yeah, today is a day for remembering those who died in the terrorist attacks, not reporting on video game news, which, in the grand scheme of things, is pretty damn trivial.  For shame, PGC.  For shame
Hey guys what's going on in this forum?

Noone regularly lowers flags or blackscreens or whatever on 9th November, either. It's been a long time since that day now, while it sure was bad it doesn't need to be mourned every single year.

The real question here, is why no black screen today, the 12th, in honor of my 14th birthday.

DrZ - I found your pic not to be funny (yes, I know you changed it).  9/11 is no laughing matter.

I like what the caption on the I *plane* NY shirt had to say.  If we can't laugh at 9/11, the terrorists have truly won.

IGN.

Anyway, you can honor all the people who died by a personal moment of silence or something, but I don't feel that every site on the world web cyberspace has to commemorate the date rhymes .  It's been 51 years since 4/16, but nobody is BSODing their websites for it.

I'd still have to agree that Dr. Z's picture was totally out of place though.

Sorry, no.  We may be Never Forgettin', but it's time to move on.  If we were a site about skyscrapers or Lower Manhattan or commercial airliners or terrorism, it might be different.

agreed, on the day of 9/11, if it were any other day I'd say it's stradling the line, but the day of, distasteful.  I guess the whole living situation is to blame though, not living in the US, 9/11 is like a world away.

9/11 was a long time ago in the grand scheme of things, but since then there have been the Bali bombings and even the bombing of an Australian embassy last week. We're certainly not oblivious to terrorism.

I like how DrZ told me that joke a couple of months ago do you smell the irony?

Why be sad, when you can laugh and be happy? Who's benefitting from you being sad?

Lighten up some of you..
