Recently, my GCN's power button got sutck down, and, seeing how I don't have a warrenty, I bought a special screw bit to open up the system and fix it. (Why didn't Nintendo just use regular screws?) The button on the shell was just stuck, so a few jiggles fixed it.
However, when I put the shell back on, and tested the console, it just said, "Please insert a Gamecube disk", (or something like that) without even trying to read the disk! How does the console know whether a disk is inserted or not? Did I mess up the sensor or something? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks in advance!
