Really, because you made that same comment just a couple of posts earlier...
Why do you think I have a negative attitude...?  Because people keep harassing me, and it doesn't help when people like Uglydot spontaneously join in just to be part of the gang.

Maybe people are harassing you because you're getting on all of our nerves with your constant negativity- you're doing the same thing IanSane did, becoming a full blown pessimist. Lighten up, laugh a little, and don't care what other people say about you.

Heh, I joined in because you annoyed me by being so serious and negative towards DRZ.  You make this seem like it is more than a message board, which it isn't.  These are supposed to be entertaining.  Now for the real gang joining...

To All:

These boards are all about GAMING, ..... GAMING is all about FUN,
if you can't have FUN when it comes to GAMING, ..... Then maybe you aren't GAMING for FUN!!

so lighten up, and let it go.

Entertaining at someone elses expense huh.  Why the ---- do you tell me to lighten up when you are still mocking me even more so and making me feel like ----?

Hmm, bypassing the filter...and you are telling DRZ to read the rules.  Calm down.  No one is being remotly serious in here when they say anything but lighten up.  Again, these boards are about fun.

You're feeling bad because of what some internet nerds you've never even met are saying about you? Screw being off topic, I've got a little life lesson for you joe- ---- what other people think about you! It doesn't matter! All that matters is what YOU think about yourself! Don't let some jerkoff you don't even know make you feel bad! You're allowing them to make you feel bad, and the second you stop caring what other people are saying is the second you start feeling good about yourself. Zoidberg may make jokes about you, and I may mock you, but you have to learn to ignore that and laugh a little! Other people don't matter- if you like yourself, then WHO CARES about them? Your life isn't measured by how other people judge it, it's measured by how YOU judge it.

You're right.  The thing that upsets me is I feel like whatever I say about anything is that people are gonna totally disregard my views as BS.  This is the only forum I use anymore because I like it here for some important reasons.  I want to be able to state my views and have good discussions because I'm older now and all my friends are gone but I still want to talk in depth about games because they're my favorite thing.  It all goes back to what happened to me in college, some people spread rumors about me and before I knew it things got way out of hand and every person was testing me.  Long story short I had to leave the school because of it.  Lost all my best friends, lost graduating from a very good college, and became very paranoid, anxious and depressed (other bad things happened coinciding with that).  Long story short it still affects me to this day quite alot as you can see.  So yes I have a problem with what others think about me because of my past.  I would appreciate it if we could put all of this behind us and pretend it never happened.  Thanks

Pretending it never happened isn't going to fix it- you have to recgonize what happened and make the conscious decision to change that and not care what other people think about you. ---- them! They're --------, including myself! Don't let yourself fall into their trap. You have to learn from the past, and it's just going to happen again and again until you decide to not let it affect you. Maybe it's not my place to say this, but if you're going to get pissy about every little thing that happens you're going to be pissed off your entire life. You can still have discussions about games- what Zoidberg posts doesn't change that. Most of us carry on the conversation anyway, and if you hadn't called attention to it we would have done the same. Just ignore what he says if you don't like it and don't screw yourself up over it- in the big picture it means jack squat.  Lighten up a little, you're going to get an ulcer.

I meant pretend we never got mad at eachother and start off with a clean slate again.  Point taken though.  BTW you know what would be funny as hell if someone put a quote like: "They're -------, including myself!" in their own signature.  And I mean no offense by that, I'm just trying to be humorous.

Weird it seems you're not able to post the word ----.... unless it's in italics?

Simply checking then "Do no parse emoticons" box used to be enough to bypass the censor, but now it seems we've had to use html markup, like you said, to get around it. I'm not making a habit of this, I just didn't want a censor getting in the way for the time being.

And consider the slate clean.

Any attempts to fool the language filter will not be tolerated.  I don't care if you're doing it while helping a friend or not.

I'm glad to see that things have been patched up here, but there is no reason for such drama on our forums.  This is a place for discussing games and related topics, not for dealing with personal matters or for piling on humiliation or for participating in pointless name-calling.  Many online arguments can be attributed to people misinterpreting someone's writing, due to the lack of vocal inflection or social context.  People also tend to be more blunt in their criticism when writing online; it follows that you should also be more resilient to what people say about you.

In any case, if you feel that someone has personally insulted you, report it to the moderators.  No one, not the insult's recipient nor the other people following the thread, should respond to an insult.

Edit: Ha ha, I can't follow threads properly due to a web censoring program we've got here at work (guess I should be working, huh?) and I posted this without reading past the first two pages...so it may seem out of context.  Anyway, this is on the original subject of the thread:

This is lame and cool at the same time.  I wish people wouldn't wreck and steal stuff at conventions, but that's a pretty impressive feat.

I kind of doubt this will have a big effect on Konami.  I think in a worst case scenario, someone will put piece of the game on the internet.  I don't think Joe casual gamer will ever even know about it, and Bob hardcore gamer will play through the illegal copy, then go buy the REAL game when it's released.
That's my opinion, not yours.
