"So let me get this straight- you think Xbox and PS2 were "fan's input", when MS had to IMMEDIATELY do away with the "Duke" (also known as the Unicron controller) pad and Sony STILL has you buying MULTITAPS for 3+ player games?

Right, kid. Next, please..."

wow... u seem confident about ur statement, u really know what going on eh... i know that PLAYSTATION was a bad example but think about it, if it sells why fix it, and why did it sells, cuz the fans like it, and that is what i meant for the input by the way...  unlike NINTENDO who seems to stay away what made PLAYSTATION popular.

oh for the XBOX thingie by the way, i remember reading it in the EGM or (was it in the one of the dead magazine, u know where MATT from IGN has a column every issue about the DOLPHIN... if u know what i meant, just holla) NEXT GENERATION i think??? about the MAKING OF THE XBOX and the ppl from the MICROSOFT has to conduct a survey and researches on how they would make a system and they had to interview alot of ppl... they actually went to ppl houses u know... i know that HD was one of the suggestion and the breaking the cord thingie was one of them... if u tell me that XBOX isn't a good machine, then ur lying...

but what the point of this argument cuz we really dont know whats going on behind the scene, i just based this on what i read from previous article... by the way im no kid and chongman is right... the reason ppl are so hard on NINTENDO because they got no other business to back them up... if they loose this, they will end up like ATARI and SEGA... i know they are improving on things and changes doesn't happen right away but i just hope that it isn't too late cuz i dont want the REALEST to go while the FAKERS dominate...
even in the message board, ppl seem 2 be intimidated by me.  it feels like im da slim shady him self 'cuz they had 2 use a microscope everytime i post...  blah they got nothing on me other than attacking my paragraphs...

xbox in my view isn't a good machine. mainly cuz it seems like they slapped together anything they could get that would look or sound "mature and manly" and it just doesn't seem well thought out.

oh heck, yeah it can do a lot of stuff. and perhaps microsoft really did try as hard as you say. and yes the hardware can produce enough pixels its ridiculous.  it just wasn't...executed right.

xbox is a good machine in some rights...but not cuz microsoft made it a good machine, but because developers graced it with games worth playing.

Whoa ...you all seem a little right and a little wrong .

Alright , TBH I think Microsoft ruined thier chances of going head to head with the GCN from day 1. The production value is too high and they are losing too much money from it. But I would be stupid to not state how good thier advertising campaign is ...I mean I see people talking about the Xbox on the news.

Is Nintendo in desperation mode ? Puh-lease

They are not struggling for 2nd place. They are now far and away from Xbox. If they continue thier little role then you might end up seeing the GCN head to head with the PS2.

P.S - Santana ( forgot your name ) , If you are so old and mature ( like you are stating ) then at least add CAPITALS at the start of you sentences , also at least try to spell at an 2nd grade level.

P.S.S - If you were to go to www..gamecubeland.com you will find an article stating
BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY CONFIRMED !!! for the N5.
