You know, it's funny - the Australian anthem actually has THREE verses. Thats right
We only say the first one, cause no one remembers the second one, and the third one is about God saving us or something, but since not everyone here believes in God, we'd only stop at the second verse (if anyone remembers it ).
It begins with
'Beneath our radiant southern cross....' and it goes on.......i forget

Our national anthem has has more to it, but nobody cares about it.  actually, I don't know if the anthem does, but i know the poem Francis Scott Key did (anthem based off poem).

If you are a good person only because of religin, then poo for you. That means that you only act that way out of fear of eternal damnation. And that is sad.

Or out of love and respect of God (and there may be more of these than you think).  Which, if you have the courage to believe in something so unlikely, is far more respectable to me than doing it for the sake of humanity.  Who ever said that humanity deserved anything good?  I don't think they do.  My name here is not completely misleading.

You are very short sighted if you think religion is that petty.  Not blind, because there are many pathetic men that think that way, but you're still wrong.

I personally don't follow religion for many reasons, but if it gives people direction and guidance in life, then I can't possibly say it's a bad thing. That's unorganized religion, that is.

out of all of you i am the only one who talked to Bill's sister..she told me i was a pedophile and wanted her dirty pictures...i just wondered how old she was....like she like jumps to conclusions...she calls poor Bill a pedophile...like how i would call my friend a dumbass...thats like 10 times worse then calling someone a motherf*cker....like Bill you need to teach your sister that is an extremely serious insult and shouldn't be used so casually.

I don't want to hurt Bill's feelings, nor do I want to get banned.  I'll keep my mouth shut.

I'll just suggest that she lighten up.  We're not serious.

I only say the pledge of allegiance because im forced to. I never have given it a thought or anything. Why do you have to do a project on this anyway?

KnowsNothing, your site appears to have been shut down permanently.  If the file is small enough... you can email it to me.  If it's not, then I guess I can't really help much.  But this I would like to hear.  I should actually find my microphone wherever it may be and post me singing Canada's anthem.  (If I look up the words)

you really want to hear it?  I'm singing in a wacky pretend-to-be-good kind of way but......whatever.  I also have me playing the star spangled banner with my nose.....but....yeah.....

yeah the song sucks and my voice cracked halfway through...

You could email it to me, too, while you're at it.  Send it to ibdomini@iname.com.

Perhaps we should just start a thread of all of us singing random crap.  That would be. . . somewhere between fantastic and miserable. . .
