Hehe, actually i was referring to drinks of all kinds. At the time i was thinking of coffee. i'm looking for a cheap brand of coffee to brew in my French press. i've got enough beans to make one last cup of my favorite Italian blend (Caffe Darte's Meaning of Life blend), but it's too expensive to buy any more. i can be really picky when it comes to coffee, and finding a fair substitute for this particular blend in a supermarket will be a bit difficult. A French press can bring out the flavor and body of a good coffee, or expose the weaknesses of a bad one.
Alcohol-wise, i've been drinking Black & Tan (Michelob) lately. i discovered it on one of my mandatory jaunts to Walmart. i'm used to spending $7-$10 for a six-pack, so beer for just over four bucks came as a surprise. i'm not very well versed in beers, but using beers like Yuengling's Black and Tan and Guinness Extra Stout as a ruler, i'd say it lacks the depth of flavor and body of those two, but maintains a good flavor for a beer that's half the price.
Mostly, i've been drinking water. i drink almost a gallon a day, filtered with the new Brita filter they show on tv with the digital indicator. The indicator is really just a simple countdown timer with something like four bars on it. It loses a bar every two weeks, and after two months, you're supposed to replace the filter.
