I was just thinking about something hilarious. Apparently Microsoft completely redid Goldeneye, totally finished the project, then talked to Nintendo? Nice work retards. Wouldn't step one be talk to Nintendo then if you come to an agreement go and do the work? Either Microsoft is full of dumbasses or this story is a load of shit.

Either that, or the company is so filthy rich that it can afford to fund and then abandon projects with impunity. I remember that they paid many millions of dollars for exclusive content in some game once. They can do it, because Bill Gates probably uses more money than that just to wipe his bottom every day.

Well if that's the case, thank god I'm not a stockholder because that would seriously piss me off.

Didn't they pay like $50 million for GTAIV content?

They've also suffered horrendous losses with their Xbox hardware. Oh yeah, and they purchases Rare from Nintendo for a hefty sum, as I recall. But none of that really matters, because the entire gaming industry is just a drop in the bucket to them. Let's not forget they have a monopoly on the entire OS market and they rake in billions of dollars in cash, so a loss of a few million here or there doesn't matter to them, and the shareholders don't care either as long as they are profitable overall.
is your sanity...

But didn't Reggie say he was trying to get Goldeneye on the Wii somewhere? I could be wrong but I thought I read that, or maybe it was something G4 said?
