Where else would you go to play checkers, solitaire, and... shogi?

A hot DS seller is getting expanded and brought to Switch this year.

Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics will launch digitally and physically on June 5 for US$39.99/C$49.99. It will feature play for up to four players locally and online.

In addition to classic western board and card games, the Switch edition will have two forms of shogi, Mancala, and even slot car races.

Price is a little steep for me, but it looks like it has lots of quality content and the various multiplayer options make it look like it will be worth it. I will wait to hear how the reviews and word of mouth are for the game.

I like the idea, but I have no interest in like 2/3 of the games on it.

And it's funny seeing the generic names they come up with some of the games in it, like Renegade (Go), Four-in-a-Row (Connect Four), and Yacht Dice (Yahtzee).

..., like Renegade (Go), ...

Renegade is the generic name for Othello, not for Go. Sadly, it doesn't look like Go is included at all.
Still, this is a pretty good selection of classic games. Seeing Hex and Mancala added is great.

The DS game remains very fun and playable years later, and was a really well-made piece of software. Pricing seems high, but I can see how many people would get enough value over time to justify it.

And Yacht is the actual name of the game someone else trade marked for a buck.
