The first issue of our new Friday comic feature.
I can't believe "The Other Side of the Flagpole" is being featured on one of my favorite, and definitely one of the best, gaming websites! It feels like just yesterday that I drew the first comic and it's been uphill ever since! This wasn't originally the first comic in the series, but I felt that it served as a good introduction so I put it first! It is inspired by the fact that almost every single Mario game has a batch of recurring, recycled ideas. Don't get me wrong, I love the little plumber with a passion, but I feel there are plenty of places the plumber has yet to go that could provide more interesting platforming challenges than the same grassland world over and over again!
