Planet GameCube's Rick Powers takes a look inside Nintendo's building in North Bend, where every game and piece of hardware is housed ...
We proceeded upstairs, where my guide showed me the area he works in. While some stores are shipped pallets full of product, some stores need irregular amounts to fill stock and what not. Here, they pick these individual products pertaining to their computerized list, and drop them in a bin (just like the bin holding the Pokemon games on Page 1), and send it down the line. Just about every Nintendo product is on this line, including the Zelda Bonus Discs. As we were walking, I saw a couple of curious Nintendo employees smiling at me. I asked them, “So, I take it you enjoy your job?” By and large, people really seem to enjoy working for Nintendo.

There's a case like this in every Nintendo office.
And then, I saw something that distracted me completely from the reason I was there. Smack dab in front of me was a stack of Game Boy Advance SP units. Okay, “stack” isn’t the right word, more like “crapload”. Oh forget it; words just can’t describe the beautiful sight below.

Bins full of nothing but Game Boy Advance SP!
Nothing could top that, so my guide and I returned to the security desk, where I passed by a somewhat out-of-date (by about a decade!) timeline of Nintendo’s products. After snapping a quick shot for you, I thanked my guide for offering to show me the sights, and headed for home.

Slightly out of date timeline ... by about 10 years!
Thanks to Nintendo for allowing Planet GameCube this unprecedented look at their production facility!
