Spla-doosh! Is it time for another Famicast already? Oh boy, do we have a show for you! It's quite a positive episode this week, at least 40% less snark than previous episodes. Even Ty has been playing on his Wii U! What voodoo is this!? I guess the draw of an exciting new IP and the fact that the Splatoon Global Testfire was free was enough for him. Listen to the first segment as Ty and JC tag-team new business of the ups and downs of Nintendo's foray into the shooty-shooty genre. Good times await. Probably.
If that wasn't enough, Danny gives world exclusive impressions on the first 30 hours of Xenoblade X (yes, you read that right, hours, not minutes) and he seems pretty impressed with it! Will he go the additional 80 hours to finish it? Who knows. After that Ty talks non-tendo as usual with spooky jump share games and, you guessed it - Killer Instinct. You know we have chapters that let you skip segments right?
JC dishes out some thoughts on his revisit of the seminal Mario 64, plus Amiibo Crap Tap. There's a twist to his new business as it includes an Xbox One Kinect game. No seriously, they do exist in Japan, although perhaps not in the form you'd expect! The answer will shock you, and your Mom.
News has the Famicrew all giddy. First up is the fact that Rare (albeit in a different form) are making a comeback to Nintendo systems with Yooka-Laylee. After that, they discuss the Universal Studios deal which is bringing a real life Nintendo Land to Japan! What a world we live in.
After a bit of other news and chart-chat, the crew read out your short messages and tweets. We're saving the longer letters for the live show coming later this month. Stay tuned for that one by following the Famicast on Twitter (@thefamicast). You can also add a letter to the pile with the address famicast@nintendoworldreport.com if you like. It will get read out next time, or the time after.
So grab your favourite googly-eyed musical instrument, load up your over-powered ink-roller and jump into fun times with the Famicast - right here, right now! EXCITE GET!!
