Do you wish to harness the most powerful sword in Ocarina of Time? The following video should be of some assistance.

Funny. I just finished getting this sword. I needed this video a half hour ago. NWR are you reading my mind??

I was at Ganon and I went back to do this sidequest to make it easier to defeat him.

HOLY CRAP!

I had completely forgotten how much of a fetch quest this was. But it saved my butt in the end since that's how I was able to defeat Ganon.

What's wrong with you guys. Does the small screen make it more difficult to defeat Ganon with the Master sword, or something?

BeautifulShyJuly 29, 2011

I don't have OOT 3D but I did this quest alot on the N64. It is possible to get the Biggerons sword before you face Bongo Bongo. Its really east to defeat with it. For Ganondorf I usually used the Master sword to deflect the energy balls then when it is stunned I switch the the biggerons sword. You get less hits but the they tend to be stronger. My first few runs through the game I used the Master sword. I didn't really know about the Biggeron's sword till maybe 5 times through the game.

Few things I would change in the video mainly has to do with Epona's direction it is facing when going to another area. When you get back to Epona you can just hop on and go without changing the direction and wasting a few seconds. Other then that good video.

it's not worth the trouble.

JUST USE THE MEGATON HAMMER AGAINST GANNON !!!!!!!!!!

SMASHY! SMASHY!!!!!!

I believe you can actually do this after you beat the Forest Temple provided you got Epona straight away.

Better yet, use the broken Giant's Knife + Iron Boots. Go on, I dare you.

I thought you could get it as soon as you get the Hookshot, but I forget now.

I remember doing all of this for the Biggoron's sword and thinking it was very heavy and inferior to the other swords in the game xP

Really? I'll have to try that.I think the main reasons I waited to get the sword later was so I could use the warp songs.By that I mean warping to the different places in preperation of the actual quest.

I tried it with the warp songs but it spoils some of the ingredients in the timed sequences.

Yes it does. I mainly use the warps on the non spoilable items and before I start the sidequest. Oh I'm going to try and get the biggeron's sword before I finish the forest temple. Just finished the second dungeon and I have the boomerang and did some of the leaf planting and skulltala hunting. Already have 31 skulltala's caught. Have the Giant's Wallet too.

Actually you can get the sword before you go into the Forest Temple.

Just got it. You need to have the hookshot and have some blue fire on hand as well as Epona. You can get Bluefire from the icy cavern or in the potion shop in Hyrule castle town.Hookshot is for the spiders hanging on the wall where you have to climb up to the summit. If you don't have the hookshot then well good luck getting up there with the spiders that knock you off. Got it before I went deeper into the forest. The next part of the game is going to be pretty easy.
