THQ Announces Multi-Product Game Boy Advance Co-Publishing Agreement With Sega Europe Ltd; Deal Includes Three Titles Based on the Popular Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise

CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., Sep 11, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- THQ Inc. (Nasdaq:THQI), today announced that it has entered into an exclusive multi-title Nintendo(R) Game Boy Advance co-publishing agreement with SEGA(R) Europe Ltd.

THQ will co-publish three titles based on the popular Sonic the Hedgehog(TM) franchise, including Sonic Pinball Party, Sonic Battle, and Sonic Advance 3, as well as Shining Soul II and Shining Force, across Europe, Australia and other international territories beginning with Sonic Pinball Party in winter 2003.

No surprise about Sonic Advance 3. I mean we all knew it would be announced at some point in time. I'm much more excited about this Shining Force title (not Shining Soul). Shining Force 1 & 2 are some of the best Genesis games ever. I'd love it if they ported it to GBA.
