Jump into Your Portable Terminal Suit with Radio Allergy This February

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--O3 Entertainment, an interactive entertainment publishing and distribution company, today announced that Radio Allergy, an arcade shooter game for the Nintendo GameCube™, is scheduled to launch in February. Featuring three different gameplay modes, Radio Allergy is a modern day revival to the classic arcade style shooters like Gradius and R-Type. Taking full advantage of backwards compatibility, Radio Allergy will also be playable on the new Wii™ console.

“ Radio Allergy is perfect for the arcade shooter fans, and is easy to pick up and learn for the every day gamer," said Mike Pepe, Product Manager O3 Entertainment. “With a full arsenal of weapons at your control, players will love the explosions, power-ups, and story line in Radio Allergy."

Developed by Milestone Inc., Radio Allergy sets the heroine, Shizuru Kamigusa against a ruthless group of terrorists. Shizuru must utilize her portable terminal suit to defeat the terrorists and their leader Ruiki Mishima. This timeless shooter offers three game modes, Arcade, Score, and “Full Belly." Arcade and Score allow players to follow the story and the missions that go with them. In “Full Belly" mode, the portable terminal suit is given maximum power and unleashes droves of damage against non-stop enemies causing even larger explosions. This is one of those Shmups with thousands of bullets and a one pixel hit zone, right?

Hmm... I've heard it's at $19.99 ... so +1.

I found about the game through some link to it's music on insert credit. I was pretty surprised to find out it's a sh'mup game with song titles that include the words park and mall. It'll be mine on launch day.

It was hailed as the best shooter for dreamcast, even better than Ikaruga so I am definately going to pick it up. I love the graphical style! And the fact that I can pop this badboy in my Wii just makes it all the sweeter!
