Jesse Sutton, Majesco’s Interim Chief Executive Officer, commented, “We are pleased with our third quarter performance and the progress we’ve made refocusing Majesco’s game publishing business. This quarter we achieved a substantial improvement in our results over the third quarter of 2005 due to a more conservative approach to game development, an improved cost structure and strong sales of JAWS Unleashed."

Sutton continued saying, “We remain focused on our strategy to publish value products and lower-cost games for handheld systems and make products with mass market appeal. Looking forward, we believe that Nintendo’s new Wii console has excellent potential to capture the mass market gamer while remaining within our more conservative cost structure. As such, we are expanding our strategic focus to capitalize on the potential of this system, and currently have two Wii games in development. Going into the last quarter of fiscal 2006, we are looking to our holiday lineup to build momentum for 2007."

Majesco: Wow that game could be Triple AAA ergo Premium. We must stop developement.

So it's just bargain bin games now?

I haven't seen a truly spectacular game come out of Majesco in awhile. I remember hearing interviews with their ever-changing CEOs about how the company was changing, but I still see crap and more crap. Mechassault is the only game on that list that slightly intrigues me.

ShyGuySeptember 12, 2006

Things would be different if they had released PsychoNauts on the Cube.

WuTangTurtleSeptember 12, 2006

id bet it would outsell all other versions seeing how those type of graphical games are more suited to cube players than halo and gta players.

I know its the only reason why i never bought it. My Xbox broke and PS2 long before this game came out, plus i don't like games of that type for PC.

Dear Majesco,

Nintendo Fans will support you. Send us your quirky and your niche. You, too, can be the next Ubisoft or Atlus.

But in the end those Nintendo fans will just buy Nintendo games and leave Majesco to rot.
