Australian developer also commissions short CG film to be shown at E3.

Tantalus introduces Anaka at E3

Tantalus Interactive is proud to announce the launch of a new, original property to come to life next year on the Nintendo DS. Developed by the studio responsible for more than twenty hit titles, Anaka is aimed squarely at the target DS demographic, and is a license that will appeal to male and female gamers alike.

To kick-start the launch of the brand, Tantalus has partnered with acclaimed Melbourne animation studio Act 3 to produce a CG short film, which will be shown at E3. Made with the assistance of Film Victoria, the movie sets the scene for the game, introducing Anaka and her world and simulating the type of action that gamers can expect on the DS. The Anaka movie will also be shown on television and in short film festivals around the world.

Tantalus will be well represented at this year’s E3, with first-party N-Gage title Payload showing at the Nokia Booth. Tantalus will also show Metal Shell for PSP behind closed doors, along with two signed but as yet unannounced titles for DS and PSP. Tantalus will be at the Australian Games Pavilion, West Hall 2240.
