New Double-Pack games for your Game Boy Advance!

Two Games on One Cartridge for $19.99

EDISON, N.J., April 25, 2005 - Offering sensational value for the dollar, Majesco Entertainment Company, an innovative provider of digital entertainment content and products, today introduced its new Game Boy(r) Advance Double Game packs, a new lineup of products featuring two exciting Game Boy Advance video games on a single cartridge for just $19.99. The three new Double Game packs are now available in stores.

The three new Double Game packs include:

* Texas Hold 'Em Poker and Golden Nugget Casino - featuring a variety of games of chance, including No Limit Texas Hold 'Em, table games, slots and video poker;

* Cartoon Network Speedway and Cartoon Network Block Party - the title is licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and filled with a variety of game styles and mini-games, all starring Cartoon Network characters;

* Monster Trucks and Quad Desert Fury - two types of racing, each offering a unique brand of soil-churning fun.

While I'm glad they're trying to give us GBA owners a bargain, the games listed above for the most part suck. I wouldn't spend $20 on any of those listed. Two crappy games for the price of one crappy game does not a value make.

On the other hand, hardcore gamers aren't the target market. These games are for people such as parents trying to distract their kids during long trips. I'm sure the cartridges will sell better at that cost.

More double packs?

Gotta love those, there's a Sci-Fi triple pack out here that features Breed, Nomads and Project Freedom (I think that's what it's called). A great present to make anyone lose all faith in the games industry!
