Capcom’s crazy franchise spices up Japanese TV.

According to Game Informer Online, an anime based on Capcom’s Viewtiful Joe series will air on TV Tokyo starting in October, with 52 episodes planned. It seems the pink-clad hero is too charismatic for just one entertainment medium.

There is no word on whether Joe will Mach Speed to overseas television sets, but considering the original game’s worldwide popularity, the possibility of an American adaptation down the road is not remote.
