Ya they are billionares now. With the clothing line, licenses on everything you could imagine in toys stores, movies, tv, books. I'n not saying that any of it is necessarily good, but it sells to who they want it to. But they still have very right to sure just like anyone else who had a contract broken on them. I hope they win.

I will be happy with either parties loss.

Well, Bill, tell that to Michael Douglas and Cathrine Zeta-Jones for suing, and winning, after a British (I think) tabloid printed "bad" photo's of their wedding.


And they aren't exactly identical, they're fraternal.

If you ask me, based on how well their games sold, Acclaim should pay the Olsens every penny that they owe them. That's what, two bucks?

Jeez, so much hatred for Acclaim. It's not like you have to buy their games or anything. How would you like it if you had teachers in school that wrote "BURN IN HELL" on your exams whenever you got D or an F? Or if you had a boss that told you, "I hope someone sues you and takes away your livelihood since you're late for work pretty often."

Anyway, I hope whomever deserves to win wins.

It's not that they make crap games. Well... not JUST that. Acclaim has been a moron festival ever since this generation began. Worst of all have been their "wacky zany" ad campaigns. Like the one where they would defile a grave to advertise for ShadowMan 2. Or where they would compensate your endangering of lives by paying off your speeding tickets on a certain day. Or their attempt to scar children for life by having them named after their washed up game character Turok. That kind of crap makes people remeber Acclaim for their asinine advertising rather than any game they've made. And Coincidentally, Acclaim has made nothing but near-unanimously concurred garbage this entire generation. And despite their obviously horrible games and stupid advertising campaigns, they still found the time to fling mud at a console manufacturer, shirking off all the fault that is so obviously theirs. So yeah, I guess you could say there is a lot of hatred for Acclaim nowadays.

The karmic wheel of justice now turns to Acclaim. It's hard to root for somebody in this case, but me, but I hope Acclaim loses just so they nearly go bankrupt and have to rethink their business.

Hah hah! The short translation is that Mary Kate & Ashley are suing Acclaim for making crappy games, and they can since their names are on them.

This is actually pretty good for the industry. Acclaim made bad games based on the MK&A licence and are getting sued because of it. If this sort of thing becomes more common then developers will have to put more effort into licenced games for fear of getting sued if the game sucks. So we'll either get less licenced games or more good licenced games. That's win-win.

It's kind of a shame though for Acclaim. Although they've brought all of their problems on themselves they're getting kicked while they're down and probably won't recover from this.

I for one hate Acclaim as much as anyone but seriously Mary Kate and Ashley being in the game industry period is just wrong in the first place. I hope Acclaim is bitch slapped by the judge and Mary Kate and Ashley are told to stand in a corner for um i dunno the rest of their freakin lives!

They both (well all three) need to get slapped. MK&A for having a video game and Acclaim for making something that stupid.
And reading "MK&A claim Acclaim..." just made me laugh for some reason.

I think that to solve this problem, we should bury all remains of their games in a desert in the middle of nowhere like they did with the E.T. game. At least the people who made that movie didn't sue Atari over it.

I always thought something was fishy with their birthdays. It seemed like one year they turned 10, the next year they turned 16, and now it's been like 5 years and they're only 18.....strange

Whenever I read Olsen twins I think of the Olsen brothers. They've won some Grand Prix d'Eurovision de la Chanson with some pop song. And that's where all of these "they're really hot" posts start to get disturbing...

Wow the whole thermometer thing is just a little over the edge there pally, I'm not sure but im pretty sure that the mods would frown on that.
