The bold B stands for Belated.
On Sunday, July 27th Planet N2000/GameCube founder and former director Billy Berghammer turned a year older. He may not be with our site any more, but the tender 31-year-old will always be a part of the PGC team in spirit.
Although known best for his obsession with boobies, beer, and poop jokes, TEH CRAZEY BILLEH is also well known for his strong journalistic presence. From N64HQ to PGC to his fancy new REAL job at Game Informer, Billy has made a name for himself through his dedication to his greatest passion: videogames. For years, Nintendo enthusiasts have relied on Billy for inside scoops as well as general information on Nintendo 1st, 2nd and 3rd party products. It was Billy and his ninja-spy team that brought you the first confirmation of the GameCube logo. It was Billy who brought you hours of video footage of the Japanese GameCube launch. It was Billy who made this site what it is: the most extensive, free Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance website with an astoundingly versatile staff (if we do say so ourselves). Billy has even become a videogame celebrity over the years, with one of the most recognizable faces in the industry.
But, alas, times change, and a man cannot live unemployed forever. The entire Planet GameCube staff (including Louie) hopes Billy had a super birthday on Sunday and wishes him the best as he continues his escapades with Game Informer.
