Reports are coming in from around the country that Animal Crossing is already for rent at Blockbuster. Go home happy...EARLY!
Animal Crossing isn't available in stores until next week, but there's a chance you might get to start building your town a little early.
I've gotten a couple reports from friends and readers that Animal Crossing is already available to rent at some Blockbuster Video Stores.
Before you go driving 120 miles an hour to your local store, give them a call and double check. We're not saying all Blockbusters have Animal Crossing, just some. Better be safe than sorry.

Update: A PGC reader who is also an Animal Crossing Pioneer just emailed us saying that you cannot copy your town file between memory cards. So if you rent it and want to buy it later, you'll have to start all over from the beginning, unless you use the SAME memory card.
