It's a bit of an odd story, actually. I had finally decided to buy one of the Zelda Oracle games, for fear of missing out on something big. I heard in PlanetChat that Best Buy had a good deal on them. So I high-tailed it down there. They didn't have either Oracle game. Next I tried Target, same thing. So I stopped in Wal*Mart. My keen deductive reasoning told me that since Nintendo and Wal*Mart have an alliance of sorts with the Ncrew, that Wal*Mart would probably have the games. I walked up the glass case and peer in and notice about 20 some-odd copies of Iridion 3D! I quickly asked the clerk to get me a copy and was on my merry way, holding one of the more impressive GBA games in my hands.

But the real story isn't how cool it is that I got a GBA game 2 weeks early. The real story is that these GBA games are on the shelf now, and possibly on sale. I'm sure the clerk didn't know that they weren't supposed to go on sale until the 13th, otherwise I probably would have walked away saddened and Iridion-less. It's a pretty safe bet that other GBA games are available now too. Especially the Majesco ones. But, my Wal*Mart didn't have any other games. If you've got an import GBA this is certainly very good news for you!
